Parent’s Rights
As a parent, we believe you have the right to:
Know the philosophy and goals of the program
Know the daily schedule for your child(ren), including the program plan, time of meals, etc.
Have advance notice for special activities via our parent connections messages
Know how your child is behaving, growing, learning, and interacting with others
Know how our teachers interact with both children and fellow staff members
Know our health and safety policy and procedures
Know our sanitation standards and the health habits that we practice
Have frequent communication with our teachers
Be heard when you have any concerns
Parent’s Responsibilities
As a parent, we believe you have a responsibility to:
Bring your child(ren) clean and properly dressed
Be sure your child has had adequate rest and is in good health
Inform the academy director and teachers if your child(ren) has an allergy, has been exposed to a contagious illness, or has changed behavior due to a traumatic experience.
Notify the director of vacations or absences in advance
Keep your child(ren)’s records up to date in our files
Inform the academy director if someone other than parents will pick up your child(ren)
Notify the center when you may be late for pickup
Pay all tuition and fees on time
Keep your child at home if the child is showing symptoms of any illness
